Andy Maiden, born in Frakes, Kentucky in 1945, attended Henderson Settlement school where he won his first talent contest at the age of 8. He sang gospel music and played rhythm guitar. Andy came from a family of 18 in which he has 10 sisters and 7 brothers.

At the age of 17, Andy moved to Chicago where he and his band played all around the area places including: Silver Dollar Club, Pinto Lounge, private clubs, and other events.

After a few years relocated to Ft. Wayne. Indiana where he and his band appeared all over the North.

He was in Billboard Magazine for over 2 years and performed in Nashville, Denver and all around the western states as well.

Now he and his wife Nancy are owners of the Nashville Connection in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. He and his band appear at the Nashville Connection as well as around the South.
